Summer's almost gone

It's hard to believe that summer is almost over. We were busy visiting with family and painting our house's exterior. Greg was a big help with that project. I spent a lot of time practicing for an encore performance of "Children of Eden" as a member of a local theater group, Logos Theatricus and we raised over ten thousand dollars for local charities. In early August, Sarah and Ethan flew down to join us for a visit to West Virginia to help celebrate Birdie's 90th birthday. There were about 60 guests and lots of great food. We swapped lots of stories and had a wonderful time visiting with friends and relatives. Enjoy these photos that I snapped at the party.
