Thanksgiving Memories of 2009

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends. Sarah and family arrived the Saturday prior and we enjoyed an evening out at a local pub to hear an Irish band and spend some time with friends. The following morning, Sarah and I were escorted by our trail guides Celie and Wendy to the top of McAfee's Knob which is 3200 feet high upon the Appalachian Trail. The 7 mile trip took us about 4 hours and we thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful views and the time we spent together.

Later in the week we were joined by Greg and Alli, Jeremy and Jeremy, and Paula and Leah. We had a fabulous Thanksgiving dinner with all of the trimmings.
