Presenting Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Hall!

Greg and Alli tied the knot at St. Andrew's Church in Roanoke, VA, on November 11th, 2006. Wedding week was very busy as everyone except for Arlene, George, Gene and I had to travel into town. Wednesday evening we had a nice dinner with parents, Alli's sister and Greg's sister (Greg was on his way from Boston with his groomsmen). Thursday we celebrated Alli's birthday along with the Greg and his groomsmen. Friday night was the rehearsal at church followed by dinner. Saturday afternoon Alli and Greg said their "I do's". They were attended by 5 bridesmaids, 5 groomsmen, and 1 fantastic flower girl. The bride was stunning in her gown and the handsome groom was beaming. The mass was given by Msgr. Joe Lehman from Our Lady of Nazareth. Although weather predictions were for storms to roll in by 3:30, there was no rain until early evening. The reception was held at the Roanoke Country Club where guests (about 60) enjoyed filet mignon and free-range chicken. Alli's dad, Peter, compiled the perfect playlist of music. Alli's Uncle Dana and Greg's best man, Moses, wowed guests with their fabulous singing voices. There was much laughing, much dancing, and much enjoyment for all who attended. Enjoy these photos.

Ethan Celebrates 1st Birthday!

Can you believe it's been a year since this little fellow came into our lives? We went to CT for the main event that was hosted by Joe's Aunt Chris and Uncle Pete. They graciously opened their home as Joe and Sarah's house was still under construction. About 30 relatives and friends attended and the birthday boy remained in good humor throughout the day. He was just beginning to take some steps while holding on to furniture. He loved his birthday cake, which he dove into with both hands.

Greg and Alli's Wedding Shower

After a busy July, August was spent visiting doctor offices and getting ready for surgery that ultimatley resulted in the removal of a 2-lb tumor. I told the doctor I had to be well by the end of September so I could go to Orlando for Greg and Alli's shower. It was held in the Tavern where they first met. I don't think Greg had ever been to a mixed-couple shower, but he enjoyed himself none the less. Everyone had a great time, and Christina's husband, Billy, even managed to catch a few Z's. I happended to catch it on film.
